What teens are saying...
"This book is very intriguing and a great learning and self-motivating book. I liked discussing it in our book study group because I have first-hand views on suicide. It was cool to be in a group and see what other people have to say about these topics. I liked the dreams and goals portion of the book."
- Dylan, 15
“It was easy to talk to Mary Lynne.
She helped me to discover what my true happiness is.”
– Kata, 15
"Thank you for all the help you have given me. I found in you someone I could open up and trust when it was difficult to trust myself. Throughout my life, I've been to several psychologists, and they have helped, but with you, I felt that I was doing something. It wasn't just talking or complaining. I felt I was doing something for myself. You have given me ways to help myself. Now, I can help myself when I am feeling anxious or confused. I know how to relax and have hope. Thank you again for everything. I think what you are doing with your life, helping other people (including me), will help us change our lives for the better, forever.
- Amanda, 20
"I liked the tools to calm your mind because I need to calm my mind."
- Olivia, 14
"I liked the personal stories that helped describe what teens go through."
- Kyle, 15
"I liked learning more about myself and what I need to take care of myself. The soup-can strength topic helped me this week. I didn't really think I need it, but I did. I'm going to try to stay focused on my 'life values.'"
- Stella, 15

motivated me to get to know myself more and love myself.”

What parents are saying...
“My three teenage boys were very responsive to the themes of creating goals and steps necessary to achieve them. In our case, enabling our kids to start thinking about their futures (and present) allowed them to become more mature, and they began to advocate for themselves.”
– Linda, parent
"Mary Lynne helped my daughter positively handle the day-to-day drama of being a teenager, which helped take the load off of me, and ultimately brought us closer."
